The card sketch this week is another fabulous creation by Anam Stubbington. The twist is "HEART" and you can see the actual sketch and other fantabulous interpretations over at http://www.twistedsketches.com/.
Here are the "sweet" supplies/details on this card...cardstock: American Crafts, Michael's; patterned paper: My Mind's Eye Lush Pink Houndstooth...also notice the cloud looking shape behind the heart? It is the "Lush" label they used at the bottom of the paper!, The Paper Company Red Starburst Translucent; acrylic: Creative Imaginations; sticker: Heidi Swapp Pink Damask; embossing powder: Ranger Embossing Tinsel , CTMH Heavenly Blue; punch: Martha Stewart Starburst, CTMH mini punch (to create the perforated fringe at the top); Cricut Indie Art Cartridge (for wings); stamps: CTMH Priceless Love Word Puzzle, brad: Making Memories hul.la.ba.loo; sugar pink DMC floss; black Staz-on; and the "piece de resistance" is the working heart lock with keys!
As for the Valentine Swap, it was lots of fun! Have you ever participated in a swap before? I haven't, this is my first one. I am sure lots of you have, but for those of you who haven't I suggest you try it out sometime. It is a great way to meet new people, and create for someone else. In return, you receive a creation from their heart as well. Jamie, I hope when you receive this on Monday, you truly enjoy the Valentine. PS, be sure to remove the heart lock and wear it proudly on a necklace! As for swaps, I have another one I am preparing for on http://www.speckled-egg.blogspot.com/. It is a "Flea Market Swap" where we stuff lots of vintage goodies into a box for each person in our group. I can't wait to put these together for my partners, you know that I have tons of vintage yummies in my stash!
One last reminder, don't forget the drawing will be tomorrow for the giveaway! If you haven't already, be sure to leave a comment under the following post...http://curlyqmosaics.blogspot.com/2011/02/50th-post-giveaway.html.
See you soon! Amy
