As for materials, I used lots of yummy new products....Pink Paislee's weathered wood alpha chipboard in cotton & scarlet, Webster's Pages' silver tinsel, KI Memories' School Days patterned paper & star lace cardstock, Fiskar's upper crest punch, Jenni Bowlin's chalkboard alpha in black, lots of foam squares, & kraft/black cardstock for the base. Other fun items I incorporated were red/white baker's twine, white crayon, red dymo tape & part of an old yellow measuring tape!

your card is just so cute and clever! I love all the different textures you used and also that your son finished off the rhyme inside with his sentiment. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, that is one of my favorite songs....secondly...this card is spectacular Amy!!! You stitched a sentiment with baker's twine? How can I not be in love with that? I'm so going to try that but I doubt I will be able to make it as perfect as yours. Love all your elements here - a masterpiece!!

ReplyDeleteI really love this card. The colours speak to me - red, black, kraft and the unexpected yellow. And how clever to use the bakers' twine to spell out the message!
